Babies on the wwwDot by Dr.MOZ!

It appears that many of our fellow bloggers are occasionally usually able to break the big baby stories and family-related tips before Dr.MOZ. We’re really not sure how they do it, but until we figure it out…we’re very pleased to present our favorite baby and parenting blog posts that the wwwDot has to offer in one power-packed babyriffic post each week!

Let us know if we missed an important post related to babies, baby gear, parenting news, or children’s health that you would like to see mentioned by clicking in the comment bubble above. Feel free to add relevant links or promote your own baby blogs relating to the topics mentioned above.

- Babies on the wwwDot!

- Recalls @ Clever Parents: Unfortunately, over 9 million Mattel toys were recalled yesterday for lead poisoning and choking risks. Chinese-made products including Barbie, Tanner and Doggie Day Care, Sarge from “Cars”, Batman, and many other toys are included in the recall. (read more at CleverParents.com ->)

- Fun @ Cool Mom Picks: The main moms of cool have a great suggestion for avoiding recalled toys, The Cardboard Box Book! Everyone knows that the box is

usually more fun than the toy, so why not cut out the toy altogether? (read more at CoolMomPicks.com ->)

- Goodies @ mod*mom: The mod one is at it again with a giveaway that you’ll most definitely want to get in on. In association with our friends at Sparkability, mod*mom and a collection of other bloggers are giving away a Microlite Toro Newborn stroller. Considering that they are valued at $789, we think it would be irresponsible not to try and win this beauty! (post a comment at mod’s blog to win ->)

- Cool Find @ Thingamababy: AJ of Thingamababy interviews the designer of one of the strangest looking strollers we’ve ever seen. The stroller has 18 wheels attached to two plywood boards and it apparently glides and turns with ease. (read more at Thingamababy.com ->)

- Recycling Tip @ RookieMoms Blog: Heather from RookieMoms introduces Freecycle which is a grassroots non-profit network designed to help people get and give stuff to each other for free. (read more at RookieMoms Blog ->)

That’s all the baby news that’s fit to post at the moment, but come back soon to see what our readers have been posting in the comments bubble above.

Stay cool out there!

How about this one from Parent Dish about “slash-proof” uniforms? What’s the world coming to?

    Hey Doc

This lead covered bib warning came out after your post, but I thought it would be a fitting note.

Looks like Toys’r'Us doesn’t want to pull the bibs…perhaps we should stop going there until they do.

I buy from them (Toys’r’Us) a lot, maybe I should think twice when I will go again,
