September 1st 2007 by Dr.MOZ in Blogs, Contests, Potty Training
It was a busy week out there in the world of baby blogs, so here are a few links to help you catch-up on a few that you may have missed. This weekend’s installment includes a great collection of giveaways, new baby/toddler products, and a cake recipe you won’t be able to resist.
As always, let us know if we missed a post you enjoyed by clicking on the comment bubble above. Links are accepted and all posts from baby blogs or parenting blogs are fair game!
Umm…Cake: Looking for something yummy to do this long holiday weekend? Here’s a recipe for the “Weekend Walnut Cake” that come in both light or heavy (read “ganache”) versions. Print the pdf recipe, bake the cake, and enjoy courtesy of BostonMamas! (get the recipe before it is outlawed)

Get a Boost: The Babygadget crew show us how to get a boost with Kaboost. This portable chair booster works from the ground up by raising the chair instead of the child. Great idea Kaboost! (more at Babygadget)

Win This: Our friends at GoodyBlog are giving away this child-proof Mp3 player by Playskool. You many not think that your toddlers need another gadget, but anything that keeps them away from your iPod or clicking on your cell phone might be worth looking into. (more at GoodyBlog)

Potty Watch by PottyTime: Mom4Life brings us the Potty Watch which was designed to help children remember to use the bathroom by playing music and lighting-up in 30, 60, or 90 minute intervals. Win one by commenting at their blog, or head over to purchase a Potty Watch at the Mom4Life store. We would love to hear more about this product, so let us know about your experiences with the Potty Watch in the comments section if you’ve tried it! (learn more at the Mom4Life blog)
Have a safe holiday weekend moose fans, we’ll see you next week!

I like the booster seat idea. You would be able to use the chair longer for higher age groups? Moms like to save money! The other idea, well…I can’t really see a use for the baby iPod or the Potty watch. Sorry!
