Urinals for Toddlers? - The Peter Potty Toddler Urinal

Peter Potty Toddler Urinal

I’m not sure how this product managed to escape the Dear Dr.MOZ blog for so long, but fortunately crazedparent was on the ball and picked this bizarre potty training product out of the Leaps and Bounds catalog. As seen in Walmart, the Peter Potty Toddler Urinal markets itself as the world’s only flushable toddler urinal! That’s right folks, this device is the perfect training tool for those toddlers on your gift list who are unable to stand still, or pee while sitting…but are somehow great at standing and peeing at the same time!

The self-standing unit is adjustable for different heights, and the top base is filled with water to allow for flushing. To flush, your toddler simply pushes the button on top of the urinal. If he’s anything like most kids (or the toddler in the demo video), he’ll push it ten to twelve times until it is empty regardless of if he even tried “to go”. I really can’t say if this contraption will help your toddler potty “like daddy” or not, but based on the condition of most urinals you see out the world…let’s hope not!

What do you think folks, will you be lining up at one of the fine Peter Potty retail partners near you? Let us know if you’ve seen the Peter Potty in action by clicking on the comments bubble above, because we would love to hear more!

Have fun and stay healthy,

Dr.MOZ

Our two year old son climbed up on the toilet one day around 20 months old or so and just started going. I was shocked the first time I saw him do it, but when I realized he was just going “pee pee in the toy toy” like daddy does, I let it slide.

He never did like the training toilet we got him.

    Hello,
This is the greatest invention yet! I love it. All my friends keep asking me to purchase this for them as a gift, they love it, but it is getting harder and harder to find in stores and on line it seems to be out of stock quite often. Please make more and available in stores. DO NOT DISCONTINUE THIS ITEM!!!
    Thanks,
    Marlice
