Nursing Accessories

I’m constantly amazed at the number of wearable breastfeeding reminder accessories on the market, and wondered which (if any) that your family has found useful. Some are simple “left” or “right” reminders, while others help document specific information like feeding days/times to help keep it all straight. Three popular examples include:

MilkBands: Slilcone rubber bands with “left” and “right” printed on each which helps track the time your baby was fed in five minute increments. With MilkBands mothers can turn the band inside-out to switch the side indicator and track multiple feedings with a single bracelet. (more at MilkBands.com)

Mama Jewels: These little jewels are designed to be moved from left to right bra strap to help remind mom which side to use for the next feeding. (available at Mommysthinkin.com)

NurseRite Breastfeeding Reminders: Choose between 6 iron-on designs that are attached directly to a bra using the velcoin “hook and loop” backing. The design is moved to the other side of the bra after each feeding. (more at NurseRite.com)
