This recall is expanded to include two additional styles: a pink crystal and wood bead necklace and bracelet set with a monkey pendant; and a pink and clear crystal bead necklace and bracelet set with a heart pendant. All sets are sold in a pink gift box with “TOBY & ME” printed on the front and “TOBY & ME” hangtags attached to the packaging.

I had heard of some toy recalls due to lead paint but I didnt realize there was so many. How is even making lead paint these days? I assumed people quit making it back in the 1970′s.

It's good that the products are finally being pulled off the market, but it certainly is troubling to see how many are released.

Speaking of email alerts, you may also want to join the CPSC's list (visit http://www.cpsc.gov) because lead recalls only account for a small portion of children's product recalls. For example, a lead toy recall wouldn't alert parents to the recent warnings including small magnets or the deadly design issues spotted with a variety of baby cribs on the market.

This is a shocking # of recalls. When is it going to end? I fear that this is just teh tip of the iceberg as we get into the holiday season there’s going to be alot more.
