Parent Blogger Feature: League of Maternal Justice

September 28th 2007 by Dr.MOZ in Blogs, Tech and Web, breastfeeding

We interrupt this GoodFather Friday to bring you a special blogger profile. Those of you offended by breasts, or the practice of breastfeeding may want to turn away now…or now.

It has come to our attention that somewhere out there in blogosphere, there are two undercover mama vigilantes fighting the evil forces of anti-breastfeeders where ever they may be found. Known only as Lactivista and Preggerella in parks and playgrounds, this formidable breastfeeding duo of bloggers have recently joined forces to become the …The Boob Squad.

Their Mission: “To use the power of the mom internet community to expose the injustices perpetrated against mothers everywhere and to exact vengeance through aggressive finger-wagging and online shaming.”

Blogger Bios:

Lactivista – An uncensored mom of two turned vigilante who single handedly defends breastfeeders with her super action nursing brand and double power breast pump.

Preggerella – A bad mother now rogue operative who has the power to crush offenders of preggos worldwide with a single ass cheek, all while slamming a milkshake and an Italian sub.

You may have recently heard of the Boob Squad’s battle against Facebook for pulling images of breastfeeding mothers. Perhaps you’ve even joined their second mission commonly known as the Great Virtual Breast Fest which is scheduled to be launched at 10:00 on October 10th. The Boob Squad wants to know…are you for Maternal Justice? Are you a super action breastfeeding mother interested in joining the Boob Squad? If so, pull out your capes and join Dr.MOZ at the League of Maternal Justice to support breastfeeding today!

My LoMJ button is posted, my post is in the works, and I am primed (literally) and ready for the Virtual Breast Fest.

One of the best ways to encourage mothers and future mothers to breastfeed is to desensitize people to seeing breastfeeding. This is a step in the right direction, and a fun one at that.

Found you through BlogRush and I’m glad I did. Now I’m off to check out your Goodfather goodies!
