Deadly Deals on eBay and Other Auction Sites!

Always Check Auction Site Kid's Products!
Millions of products have been taken out of discount chains and baby boutiques alike, but what about the products that don’t get identified and sent back? It appears that quite a few of them are getting sold back on the market through online sellers at eBay and related auction sites. According to the Associate Press, a random check for the recalled Thomas and Friends Wooden railway brought up 111 listings on eBay.

With tens of millions of toys recently recalled for everything from lead exposure to strangulation dangers, eBay is scrambling to warn it’s sellers and buyers to check the CPSC before buying anything used for children. This is obviously a major problem that shows no signs of getting better in the future, so don’t forget to check you used products before purchasing them using the links below!

- Safety Note:

The product shown in the example image is the Mini Zooper Doll Stroller which was recalled on September 28th. Sold at Pottery Barn Kids, these strollers have been responsible for three known cases of serious lacerations due to the metal clips and side hinges. They have also been flagged as “entrapment hazards” so please follow the CPSC link if you think you may have one.

Have fun and stay healthy,

is that pottery barn kids doll stroller in the picture recalled or just an example?
    (we’ve got that doll stroller)

  2. Dr.MOZ Says:

    Hi mod*mom,

This sounds like the same stroller, so please check the CPSC recall warning link at the bottom of the post! I’ll follow-up with an email to make sure you received the information because the stroller has been linked to three serious lacerations.
