Build Your Own Monster!
I ran across the Make My Own Monster this morning thanks to a Thingamababy post and I must say, the product customization trend we’ve seen in recent years is truly awesome! The $249 price tag is a bit steep for a stuffed animal, but I like where FAO Schwarz is going with their collection of “build your own” gifts and products.

Examples Include:

The Monster Design KitMake My Own Monster: FAO partnered with North American Bear Co. to bring you a fun gift package where kids (or adults) are able to make their own monster using the Make My Own Monster Custom Design Kit. You, the monster maker…are asked for monster personality traits and to draw the monster using the paper and colored pencils supplied in the kit. A few weeks later you receive your very own 20 inch monster with a hang-tag telling your monster’s story. Recommended for children 3-6 years old. (make your monster)

Build Your Own Maclaren Custom Buggy!
Make Your Own Maclaren Custom Buggy: In case you haven’t spent quite enough on your custom monster, I thought you might also like to design your own stroller. Here you can choose your frame color, the mesh seat color, harness design, and deck out your own hood. There are quite a few design options available, so you probably won’t see another like it on your block. At only $1 more than a custom monster, you really can’t afford not to buy it! Build Your Own Tutu!

Thanks for visiting everyone! I’ll see you tomorrow for GoodFather Friday where everything will be “manly”. Until then, I’ll be here at the FAO’s Tutu Boutique creating my very own Tutu in “Dr.MOZ orange“. In case you are wondering, yes…there will be rhinestones.

Have fun and stay healthy,
Dr.MOZ
