Project LinusToday’s healthy dose of fun is in the form of a great non-profit organization called Project Linus. As the name suggests, Project Linus provides security and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new handmade blankets and afghans created by volunteer “blanketeers”.

According to their most recent tally posted September 30th, 2,293,340 blankets have already been donated through the 406 Project Linus chapters currently active across the US! Visit the official Project Linus website www.projectlunus.org to find your local chapter, sign up for their new quarterly newsletter “The Blanket Beacon“, and learn more about how you can help the cause!

Have fun and stay healthy,
Dr.MOZ
