Strollers for Triplets: Baby Jogger Q Series and the Peg Pergo Triplette SW
February 11th 2008 by Dr.MOZ in Baby Products, Strollers, Twins and Triplets
I’ve run across a shocking number of baby stores stocked with strollers for multiples lately, and I thought I’d provide a glimpse at a modern stroller for triplets. It’s intimidating to see a three seat stroller in a store when empty, and I can only imagine how tough it would be to
use one in real life! Next time you find yourself complaining about your clunky baby stroller, consider the gear that parents of triplets are forced to lug around.
- Baby Jogger Q Series: It’s hard to imagine that parents of triplets would have the time or energy to use this all terrain stroller for jogging, but this would be a great choice if you were in the market. Stats: Stroller Weight= 44.50 lbs, Folded Size (47.00 x 34.62 x 16.75 in), Unfolded Size (44.00 x 47.00 x 41.00 in), Max Weight = 125 lbs, Min Recommended Age = 6 weeks Price: $799.99 on sale at Jogging Stroller Superstore
- Peg Pergo Triplette SW 2007 Triple Stroller: This triple stroller from Peg Pergo would be hard to beat because it’s loaded with all the bells and whistles you’ll need with triplets on the move. The seats can be positioned facing front, rear, or together, and fully recline with 4-position backrests and 2-position footrests. The steering wheel’s handlebar helps easily steer the front wheels, and it adjusts to different heights and angles. Optional car seats, seat base, and diaper bags are also available. Stats: Stroller Weight= 90 lbs with 3 “Triplette MT Seats”, Folded Size (17.17″ H x 56.5″ D), Unfolded Size (42.75″ H x 23.5″ W x 66.67″ D), Max Weight = 45 lbs per seat Price: $1,059.98 at BabyCarriages.com
If you are a parent of triplets, I’d love to hear your stroller reviews (any brand/model would be great) for our readers that are expecting multiples. To share your tips and reviews with Dear Dr.MOZ readers, click on the comments bubble above.

Triplets would be quite a feat. These would definitely help. I’m expecting one. But these are cute.

You certainly don’t need triplets to appreciate these strollers. Just a quick note to say that these multi-seat strollers are also fantastic for mothers with three children who, rain or shine or spit-up or one kid looking pale, are going to get their run in.

My sister just gave birth to triplets and bought the Peg Pergo stroller also. The only complaint that she has about it is that it weighs nearly 100 pounds when the babies aren’t even in it. It would be hard to find a stroller of similar design, however, that weighed any less than that. It does have to hold 3 children! Thanks for the post. Parents expecting triplets need all the assistance they can get!

I just found out I’m pregnant, about 4 weeks along now and here I am just strolling along on the internet (no punn intended) and I land on this site…..and now I am kind of freaking out! What am I going to do if I have triplets? I admire all of you parents out there who have survived triplets and wish you the best! (Feel free to pray for me and my not having triplets!)

I can’t say that I have tested any triple strollers. I do have 2 different double strollers and I can tell you which I prefer (the same principals should apply). I own a Baby Trend Sit n Stand and a Baby Trend Double Jogger Expedition. The Sit n Stand is both kids single file and the jogger Expedition is side by side. Unless you want to develop great arm muscles (its hard to turn the single file versions), I would go for a jogging stroller variety. The joggers are wide as opposed to long making it much easier to maneuver. The larger wheels on a jogger are not just good for jogging, they are really easier to push in general. Just my 2cents.

Yes.. Stroller for Triplet. It must be difficult to maneuvering it, so make sure to get one that has the convenience of swivel wheels on the front.

Oh my…triple strollers must be triple costly, triple heavy and triple tough to maneuver. I take my hat off to the triplet parents. What an experience!

A friend of mine is expecting triplets and she has been shopping around for strollers. It’s amazing how many are out there and all the different brands! Kinda makes your head spin!
