CPSC Recalls (March 21st-27th): Rockers, Water Bottles, Egg Tops, and more

Here’s the latest slew of recalled baby products and toys posted over the last seven days. The images above only cover a portion of the recalled products, so be sure to review the full list below:
- Plush Rocker Toys Recalled By Tek Nek Toys (Due to Fall Hazard) Sold at: Wal-Mart, Toys “R” Us, Kmart, Target, Atwoods, and Pamida stores nationwide and Internet retailers from September 2007 through March 2008 for about $30.
- Downeast Concepts Inc. Recalls Water Bottles (Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard) Sold at: Major retailers, gift shops, convenience stores, mass merchandise and drug stores nationwide from February 2006 through February 2008 for about $8.
- Plan Toys Inc. Recalls Toy Penguins (Due to Laceration Hazard) Sold at: Specialty toy stores nationwide and on-line from May 2007 through February 2008 for between $15 and $20.
- Hobby Lobby Stores Recalls Easter Egg Containers and Spinning Egg Tops (Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard) Sold at: Hobby Lobby Stores nationwide from January 2008 through March 2008. The camouflage egg sold for about $2.50 and the Spinning Top sold for about $2.

OMG… With all these recalls it looks like we should go back to basics and give our kids toys we make ourselves!!!

These toys should never have reached the shelves, this is a treat to children’s lives.
