This Week in Daddy News

I noticed quite a few GoodFathers in the news this week, so I thought I better highlight the rare coverage! This week’s “dad news” includes:

  • The Today Show featured Aaron Rochlen and Brian Reid (of RebelDad.com) in a parenting piece which focused on stay-at-home-dads. It was given the unfortunate title “Meet Mr.Mom“, but I guess we’ll need to give them points for covering the topic. (more)
  • The UK’s Medical News Today reports that maternity services throughout the UK are ‘shutting out’ fathers from their children’s birth. (more)
  • InteractiveDad.com launches InteractiveDadTV.com making it the first syndicated news franchise created specifically for fathers. (more)
  • The San Jose Mercury News describes the new over-the-counter DNA paternity tests now on sale in Rite Aid stores in 30 US states. (more)
  • The Financial Mail of South Africa covers a recent study showing that 10% of new fathers suffer from some form of postpartum depression. (more)

Did I miss anything dad-worthy? If so, click on the comments bubble above to post other news worthy issues relating to fathers.

Your favorite family man,

Haha, after a quick glance I thought it was “god father”. I thought of mentioning Farther 4 Justice in the UK. But their antics leave a lot to be desired about them.
