If you are a parent looking for an option to blog software or a traditional scrapbook to chronicle your children’s’ major events, you’ll be happy to hear about two slick online services TotSpot and Kidmondo. Not only do they make it easy to journal your kid’s major life events, but they also blend
impressive social networking and privacy features to help share the fun with the rest of the family!
Kidmondo.com: (in their words) is a comprehensive online baby journal that allows parents and caregivers to chronicle their child’s life and share it with friends and family in a safe environment.
- Feature Summary: online diary to chronicle milestones, import videos, import photos, create photo albums (Flickr users can import directly!), publish to multiple journals at the same time, growth charts (height/weight/teeth), create distinct themes for each child, medical journals, food journals, and privacy features.
- Pricing: “Basic” is free (ads shown for Basic ) and allows up to 25 MB of storage and three children. For those sensitive to ads the “Plus” plan ($5 per/mo for up to 5 kids) and the Max plan ($10 per/mo unlimited kids) will hit the spot with up to 500 MB of storage.

TotSpot.com: (in their words) is a place for parents to publish a page about their kids and share with family and friends. It’s part online baby book, parent journal, and social network.

Looks like TotSpot is the better choice. I like the look and feel of their site more as well.

I have been using kidmondo from the very beginning and am loving it. Personally I like how the whole journal is structured.

Both appear to be easier than getting a WordPress blog installed…I’ll check’em out!

Been using Kidmondo for a few months now. Love the look and feel of the site. It’s very easy to use. They are lightning fast with responses to questions and feedback. 100MB of storage with the free account. Pony up and you can get 500MB, on top of some other cool features.

Kidmondo is a total copy of totspot, there is a nothing unique about it, there will be more site like this will be coming in the future targeting different countries or markets.

Totspot & Kidmondo – both are similar and easy. i use both and happy.
