Update: KidZui is Free!
June 12th 2008 by Dr.MOZ in Family Safety, Tech and Web
As you may recall from a past post “Safe Surfing with Child-Friendly Browsers“, there are a number of companies out there working to develop the first truly safe online experience for your kids. Some companies attempt to block and filter adult content through regular browsers, but one popular option is the KidZui browser. It gives kids access to over 600,000 pre-screened websites, games, and media files through their kid-safe browser allowing children to surf without worry.
Parents will be happy to know that KidZui recently dropped it’s $10 per month fee and now offers free downloads. You’ll still have the option to pay for enhanced features like online activity reports and background images ($49.95 per year), but the browser is now free to download at www.kidzui.com.
Happy Surfing!

We saw this on the Today Show last week! I have two kids, one 7 (boy), and a 9 year old (girl) — they both really love this. Matt Lauer was a big fan.
