World Breastfeeding Week!August 1st – 7th is World Breastfeeding Week and there’s a lot out there from tips to giveaways to help increase awareness, so I thought I’d pass a few links along.

  • Mommy Lounge: Mommy Lounge shares recipes and tips for a breastfeeding mother.
  • Eco Child’s Play: They are hosting the “Mother’s Milk Giveaway” and all you need to do to enter is participate in the forum’s discussion for a chance to win.
  • Pupsik Studio Blog: Our friends at Pupsik Studio are celebrating World Breastfeeding week by offering a 15% discount on nursing covers!
  • World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action: The official home of the WABA is a global network of individuals and organizations concerned with the protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding worldwide.

    I think this information is great for mothers who are contemplating breastfeeding their babies. Some mothers are scared to even try breastfeeding, but with all this information to offer, I think it will relieve some of the stress and anxiety about it and make them realize it’s the best thing for their baby!
