The “Parent Bloggers Do It Best” Giveaway!

Did you ever notice how our favorite bloggers are always able to hook you into a post in fifty words or less? The opening line just seems to drag you in until you realize that ten minutes of your life has burned away. Arrington, Huffington, and the other “tons” are pretty good, but I’ve come to the official conclusion that parent bloggers do it best. Examples you say? Oh, I’ve got examples.

- Motherhood Uncensored: “My husband was convinced that Drew had gained a good three pounds since his last well-visit. He held him up like a prize fish and said “28lbs” before driving off to the mall with my daughter.” (8/06/08)
- Rude Cactus: “I was in the bathroom (and you know that most of my really good stories start off with those five little words) and I discovered that it is well within the realm of possibility that I work with an elf.” (8/13/08)
- Suburban Bliss: “The kids are still trying to kill me.’” (8/12/08)
