So, you want something to do this weekend eh? Something fun for the kids that includes pie AND ice cream? Well, you’re in luck! I think I have the perfect prescription for you
right here:
- Pies Baked in Tiny Jars: Here’s a cool step-by-step recipe from Not Martha. Who can resist personal little pies like these?
- BatterFinger Handy Spatula: They tell you not to put your fingers in the frosting, but you’ll obviously need to try it out. Fred has the answer with their BatterFinger Handy Spatula! ($7.99 at PopDeluxe)
- Whale Ice Cream Scoop: Tired of bending your spoons when dishing out ice cream? Save your spoons with this cool scoop with a soft, non-slip grip. ($11.95 at Kim and Jason Lemonade Stand)
Have a great weekend everyone and have a scoop for me!

What fantastic tips, especially for tools and ideas for kids to get involved in the kitchen! I think they should be introduced as soon as possible to what goes on in there, so they are efficient as adults – or at least, can make more than a cold can of pork & beans for dinner!
