Baby Shower Themes by Hostess with the Mostess

Dear Dr.MOZ,

I’m throwing a baby shower for a friend, but I’m having a hard time coming up with a good theme. I’ve found a lot of baby shower game ideas online, but I’m not finding anything useful for decorations or table settings. Do you have any ideas, or know of

theme resources online?

The best source I know of for baby shower ideas is Hostess with the Mostess. Not only will you find a fun collection of baby shower theme ideas, but each idea comes with with recipes, party decor, and high quality photos.

    Lisa, obvioulsy I can tell you that you can use diapercakes for decoration. (I own a site that sells them :) . But that aside I noticed that Farm theme is pretty popular now. It is very fun and easy. You can do so many things with it. Other fun themes I can think of are Jungle, Cowboys, Safari. Have fun at your party and have fun getting ready for it.

    I do have to agree I love the diaper cakes you can easily do them and not take a chunk out of your pocket book at all. My sister n law and I have done many of them for gifts and our family members have loved them, we even have a few that don’t want to take them apart to use them haha. But you can make them to go with anything theme that you’re doing. Plus they will get many diapers and receiving blankets that they can use!

    Thanks a lot for the website. I have never had to organize a baby shower before and I have a friend who is almost due but she doesn’t have any family here so I decide to do one for her. Now that I have an idea, I’ll get started, thanks!
