Halloween Events, Jack-o-Lantern Gallery, Spooky Meals, and more!

Happy Halloween to everyone out there in Mozville! We’re building quite an archive of Halloween-related resources, so I thought I’d pull out a few baby blog favorites that you might find handy this afternoon.
Spooky Treats without the Sweets: spooky appetizers and meals to help offset the sweets including Eyeball Caprese, Melon Brain, and Halloween Mummy Dogs!
GooGhoul.com: You’ll find local Halloween events at GooGhoul including. Their server wasn’t responding during my last check, but I guess that’s expected on their big day.
Jack-o-Lantern Gallery: If you’re in need of a little last minute inspiration for pumpkin carving, you can’t go wrong with the Jack-o-Lantern gallery on Flickr. There’s over 1,200 carved pumpkins so check it out!
Building a Halloween Piñata: Learn about pull-string piñatas. They are indoor-safe and fun for toddlers because there are no bats needed.
Special thanks goes to MarkyBon for the Flickr image used above. Make sure that your little ones are visible with lights and reflective material this Halloween and have a great time.
Have fun and stay healthy,
Dr.MOZ

Great pumpkin gallery. Unfortunately, I will cut completely through my pumpkin once again this year, creating a candle flame distraction and the frightening face will look vaguely like a happy clown with some variation of Bell’s palsy.
It’s like that every Halloween.

I love how good some of those jack o’lanterns look. I’ve never managed to do more than a basic face. Of course, I deform it so much that it does end up scary…Maybe I should start practicing for next year!

We tried the Halloween Piñata and the little ones really enjoyed it. We really have a blast Halloween party because of the 3 Piñatas that we prepared. We will surely have this again next year.
