The Cam-Baby Infant Robot

Cam-Baby Robot

The Cam-Baby robot looks cute, but I’m really not sure who the target market is now that I’ve seen the list of features. Despite what you might expect from the name, the Cam-Baby doesn’t come equipped with a camera or video capabilities. Instead, it begins to walk when

it detects a loud clap. The Cam-Baby can also moves it’s head and wink, and when it falls (you’ll love this!)…it makes crying noises. Yeah, that’s pretty much all it does. Cam-Baby may not turn out to be this year’s must have holiday toy, but it could have great potential as a pregnancy prevention tool for teens once a diaper-soiling feature is added. (expected release Dec. 08, undisclosed price)

Have fun and stay healthy,

This Cam-Baby is adorable! I’m going to put one in my daughter’s stocking for Christmas this year. She just turned 3 and I think she’ll love it. I’m waiting for the diaper-feature to come out so I can get it for my little sister! She’s at that age, it’s a bit scary. We’ll have to see how she does.

LOL – that’s funny. I guess someone was thinking “Build it and they will come…” ???

  3. Arindam Says:

Those are really cute. I hope they’re not waterproof or the “diaper soiling” feature just might make a teenager take the toy to the sink and wash it off. lol

I am about to have a baby boy. These cam baby robots might do a great job for my wife and I.

Hi Ben – I’m not sure how to break this to you, but the Cam-Bots won’t do much…unless their walking and making crying noises are useful. In any case, congratulations with the baby news!
