Baby Shower Bait: Beforme MP3 Stethoscope
November 17th 2008 by Dr.MOZ in Pregnancy, Strange Products, Tech and Web
Today’s healthy dose of fun is sure to be a “must have” baby shower gift for new moms in the future. It’s still in development, but the Beforme MP3 Stethoscope will be the hit of the baby shower if designer Robert Majkut is able to make the leap from concept phase to finished product. Not only will this gadget pick-up baby’s heartbeat and display it on the screen in graph-format, but it’s designed to send the information via USB and/or Bluetooth for saving and sharing. Very cool, I’ll be sure to let you know when the Beforme is available!
Have fun and stay healthy,

I think that’s the creepiest device I’ve ever seen.
Whats next? Shoes that look like feet?

Yeah I agree this is a bit creepy, wicked what it does though but maybe rethink the casing?!

Really? This is the creepiest device you’ve ever seen? A heart-shaped gadget might be a little odd, but if you want to see creepy…check out the Fetal Bites cookie cutter post.

I wish this was available with either of our children. That is an awesome idea. We actually ended up borrowing my mother’s stethoscope when my wife was pregnant with our second child to let my son listen to the heartbeat.

This is a very interesting product, but how expensive do you think it would be to consumers? I think it would be great for baby showers.

Very interesting indeed. I’m not sure I would get it just to save MP#’s of my babies heartbeat, but there might be certain medical reasons to use such a unique device. Thanks for the interesting post!
