Kustom Tonkas by Telstar Logistics

I’m not sure how many people need to take part in something before it’s considered a “trend”, but let the record show that I’m wholeheartedly behind this one. The fine team at Telstar Logistics have been building a “Kustom Tonka” fleet (TL’s Tonkas on flickr)

including the Rat Rod Tonka, Pink Woody Tonka, and the Hello Kitty Tonka. Their portion of the auto industry bailout is expected to arrive soon, but until that time you can help support American-made Kustom Tonkas by creating one of your own…or by purchasing Telstar Logistics company gear from their CafePress store!

Have fun and stay healthy,

I had a couple of those when I was a kid. My only question is why they need to be custom. they were pretty cool when they were just old yellow. But I guess thats how I am. Always stuck in the past.

Nice idea to make them custom for both boys and girls. After all, there are some girls that like to play with trucks too!

Every kid needs to have a Tonka Truck, whether it’s classic “indestructible” metal models or one of those new beautiful bulky dump trucks.

This is a great durable truck and would make a wonderful first truck for a child. There are no sharp edges.

Do they make brand specific toys? Such as a Mack Truck Toy?
