Rockabye Baby! Renditions of Christmas Rock Classics

Dear Dr.MOZ,

I’m throwing a baby shower in a few weeks that will have a Christmas theme to it. This is going to seem like a strange question, but do you know of any good background music for an event like this?

This was a hard one, but I think I have the perfect collection for you. I recommend

Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Christmas Rock Classics for background tunes with a “baby vibe”. It includes instrumental versions of popular Christmas rock tunes with covers of John Lennon, The Pretenders, Ramones, Pearl Jam, and others. You certainly can’t rock to this disc (they really are lullabies), but it would be a perfect fit for a baby shower with a Christmas theme. The disc would also make a great gift for the expecting family after the party, so you might want to include it as one of their shower gifts.     The Lullaby Renditions of Christmas Rock Classics is a great music choice. The song selections are all good, soothing but certainly not boring. This is simply perfect to play as background music.

    What better way could their be to get a baby into music than by playing John Lennon, The Pretenders, Ramones and Pearl Jam at their baby shower – the kids going to grow up cool!:)

    lol, heck ya. Love the music. Great idea for showers and gifts. Very good theme, Christmas with a cool band twist.
