Meet the GIANTmicrobes!

If your kids are having a hard time remembering to wash their hands before eating, perhaps they just need a visit from the GIANTmicrobes! Choose from any of the 50 GIANTmicrobes plush dolls (from the common cold to salmonella) to help teach your kids a variety of important health lessons. To ensure that the lessons stick, introduce them to the GIANTmicrobe soap dispenser (rhinovirus “common cold” shown) and they’ll line up to wash away those cute little microbes!

Have fun and stay healthy,

Now that is a great idea!

  2. Joyce Porter Says:

What a cute design kids will surely love this. Are this already out in the market?

  3. Dr.MOZ Says:

They sure are Joyce. Just click on the links within the post and you’ll see a variety of prices at Teacher Source based on the number of GIANTmicrobes you would like. They seem reasonably priced ($7.95) each, and can also be purchased as an entire 50 piece set which would be great for schools.

Yeah, it’s a great idea. it looks like a toy. it will encourage them to use it if they will treat it as a toy.

Giant microbes are great, they can also be used as great cuddle toys.

  6. Carrie Says:

So, we’re teaching kids that germs are cute and cuddly? I love these.

  7. Dave Says:

I sure would have liked them as a sickly little boy.
Little boys always have dirty hands from playing outside.
That cool blue soap dispenser would have been just the thing,
to get me washing my filthy little kiddy hands, more often.

  8. Taylor Says:

Wow those are adorable. I think that my kids my like germs if they think they look like that.

  9. Ernie Small Says:

i love this concept (the toys look so cute and the idea of creating dolls inspired by germs is extremely creative), but i don’t think they would make my kids want to stay cleaner…..in fact it seems that just the opposite would be the case….

  10. jose Says:

They’re pretty cool! I don’t have kids but I would buy them for myself.

  11. marnell Says:

What a good idea, I always have my kids wash there hands numerous times a day, even use the anti bacterial sanitizer. I hate when my kids get sick, so anything I can do to help prevent that I will surely do.
