CPSIA Blog-In Day: Sign a Petition!

CPSIA Blog-In: Sign a Petition! If you’ve been to other blogs this afternoon you probably already noticed that today is the “CPSIA Blog-In” where blogs everywhere are calling for the immediate reform of the CPSIA (H.R.4040). Thousands of small businesses including manufacturers, publishers, artists, and retailers are all threatened by the sweeping law going into effect on Tuesday, February 10th. That’s less than two weeks away, so here are two things you can do right now to fight the flawed legislation and make your voice heard:

1) Petition to Reform CPSIA HR4040
2) Petition to Repeal the CPSIA

Everyone will soon feel the CPSIA’s wrath because it not only puts unreasonable mandates on small manufacturers and those making handmade products, it also threatens family-owned boutiques facing unbelievable penalties for selling inventory purchased before February 10th. Thank you for taking the time to sign the petitions above!

All of us at NewBaby.com are concerned about how this new law will dramatically affect handmade and stay/work at home moms and families. We need to have some time and more eyes on this subject in Washington. Please join us in fighting this good fight.

That’s not a good news. How can they do that? Don’t they knew that even a small business means a lot to some people? That shouldn’t be pass. Let’s help each other to petition CPSIA HR4040 and REPEAL the CPSIA.
