FOR ONE THIS WOULD BE GREAT FOR BABIES WHO NEED TO BE WHEENED OFF BEING HELD ALL THE TIME. I HAVE A FRIEND THAT CANNOT JUST “PUT” HER BABY TO BED HE NEEDS TO BE ROCKED AND SHE IS NOT COMFORTABLE PUTTING HIM TO SLEEP IN A SWING. THAT IS HER OWN FAULT BUT THERE ARE JUST SOME REALLY NEEDY BABIES OUT THERE.
FOR TWO, IF A BABY IS HUNGRY OR NEEDS IT’S DIAPER CHANGED IT WON’T JUST GO BACK TO SLEEP. SO I AM NOT AS CONCERNED WITH WHAT IT IS “TEACHING” THE CHILD AS WITH WHAT IT IS TEACHING THE MOTHER. MOMS NEEDS TO KNOW HOW TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN A CRY FOR FOOD AND A CRY FOR ATTENTION.

So if the crib has a cry sensor so it will automatically react by swinging the baby whenever it cries, what is this teaching the child? I would love to see the consequences of keeping a child in this contraption and how they turn out as preschoolers.
