Attention all parents in the greater Naperville, IL area! If you have a toy that you would like tested for lead you’ll be happy to know that From My Room located at 1283 S Naper Blvd in Naperville, IL (google map link) is having a lead testing party on Sunday, March 8th. Not only will you have the opportunity to ensure your toys are safe, the requested $5.00 donation benefits the Kids Backpack Program at Northern Illinois Food Bank so everyone wins!

When I first read the title, I thought they were testing children for lead levels and I thought “shouldn’t a doctor be doing that”
Good to see it’s the toys that are being tested!

This is kinda weird. A lead testing party, huh? Hmmm.. sounds like you’re trying to turn something grim into something fun. I never thought I’d see the day when analyzing children’s toys for quantities of lead would turn into something festive, but hey, whatever floats your boat. Cheers!

I think you might be taking the word “party” a little too literally Mawe. It’s true that the fundraiser for the Kids Backpack Program is a positive event, but don’t confuse this to mean that lead is being celebrated in any way.
