We’ll have multiple winners with this week’s giveaway which includes CDs for kids and parents from the award winning singer and songwriter Dennis Caraher! Called a brilliant songwriter by the Boston Globe and heard on NPR’s All Things Considered, Dennis is sure
to be a family favorite. You’ll have two chances to win:
- 1st Prize: The all new “I Miss the Mud” CD for kids and “Radio Boy” for adults, both by Dennis Caraher!
- 2nd Prize: “Bow Wow Baby” CD for kids by Dennis Caraher!

I don’t have a young child (my boys are in their teens), but my husand does have a granddaughter that is around a lot. Yes, children’s songs get stuck in my head and I’m singing them around the house. I’d love to have a new cd for her.

My niece doesn’t really have a favorite song, it chances depending on what she is lstening to lol, she loves disney music, expectually from the little mermaid.

We sing ABCs and 123s……but My son’s FAV is Imagination Movers theme song on Disney channel, I think. He also likes the Little Einsteins music……they do have some great songs. I find myself singing along and getting the songs stuck in my head for days.

Honestly, I think Jingle Bells might have to rule the roost around here. I think it’s the fact that 1) it’s simple and 2) they get to dance around ringing jingle bells while they sing it…

My kids love this song:

Ironically, my mother taught it to my brothers and me when we were young and I taught it to my kids.

My 2 year old granddaughter attends “Music Together” classes, and loves all of their songs! She loves their greeting song “Hello Everybody, so glad to see you”, and there is a song on a kid’s cd that she requests constantly in the car which goes something like “Lolly lolly lolly” and I can’t remember the words! She and her sister love music and my older granddaughter plays the Nutcracker constantly…dancing around the house to it!

Our children love the Irish lullaby “Too Ra Loo Ra Loo Ra” (although the youngest sings ‘turtle turtle turtle’.) They also love “Ridin’ in the Car” by Music Together.
