Crayons in the Dryer? Facebook to the Rescue!
April 6th 2009 by Dr.MOZ in Tech and Web
If you aren’t already using social networking and micro-blogging services like Facebook and Twitter, you are probably wondering where parents find the time to use them. The funny thing is, parents using these services are wondering what they ever did without them. Consider this weekend’s exchange between two moms on Facebook:
- Mom 1 (2:54pm): QUICK! Does anyone know how to clean red crayon from every surface of the inside of the dryer?
- Mom 2 (2:57pm): magic eraser.
- Mom 1 (3:04pm): YES! Magic Eraser is working!
Wow, Facebook to the rescue in only three minutes! Let me know if you have been saved by your Facebook or Twitter friends by clicking on the comment bubble above.
Have fun and stay healthy,

I have been saved several times, bubblegum in the dryer, ink on the carpet. How to clean an iron skillet.
Here is the best one tho, and the one that sounds the least likely to work, but it does!. “If you have a window with no screen or there is a tear in it and bugs are coming through, but you must have the window open. Fill up a ziplock bag with some water and hang it from the window. Bugs will not come through.
I know, sounds crazy, but it works. Thanks Facebook!!

What feature of Facebook is it talking about? Just between friends in FB or in a mom’s group?

It is really funny to know how facebook can be used by moms too.
@ bp – That’s one hell of a crazy idea. Let me try it and I will post if it worked for me or not.

Wow! Within 3 minutes. Looks like there are plenty of people idling and socializing in twitter and facebook every minute! Great one.
