The qb Customizable Playhouse

I ran across an over-the-top kid’s product from the Netherlands today and thought I’d share the madness. The qb playhouse is billing itself as the first customizable children’s playhouse. You can choose from multiple house styles, and customize all the details like color or print. If that’s not unique enough for you, you can send them your kid’s favorite print

or drawing and they’ll work it into your customized qb!

It’s definitely a cool product, but I haven’t shared the kicker. Priced at  EUR 1,499 to 1,799, you’ll pay up to $2,390 in US dollars (not including shipping) to put a qb playhouse in the backyard. For that kind of dough, you might consider buying a new refrigerator and giving the kids the box and set of crayons to customize their new cardboard playhouse.

    I like your idea about the new refrigerator and giving the kids the box to play with instead! It doesn’t take too much to make kids happy. And I’d like to make my pocketbook happy and not pay so much for this playhouse!
