Shari Criso: Tips to Keep a Budget Baby!

June 4th 2009 by Dr.MOZ in Baby Products, Dr.MOZ Partners

My friends the Criso’s are one of the hardest working families in the baby business. Many of you know them from their fantastic baby store The Birth Boutique in Denville, NJ but parents outside of the NJ/NY area are now discovering their fantastic new breastfeeding resources through MyBabyExperts.com. Shari Criso recently shared her secrets for keeping a budget with a baby on NBC10 Philadelphia, so I thought I’d share them because she’s highlighting many of my favorite products and providing great tips that will save your family thousands!

Have fun and stay healthy,
Dr.MOZ

PS – Sorry for the ad at the beginning of the piece, but it comes with the video.

With today’s credit crunch, we have to keep in mind how we handle our finances, especially with seemingly trivial things. Its a good thing a lot of products nowadays are low-cost and of good quality.

Just what we needed in these days of recession, but the low cost should not lead to low quality..

My husband and I are going to start ttc this spring and we want to put together a budget of sorts. We are wanting to get a general idea of how much our doctor visits and hospital stay, etc. will cost. I know there is no way to keep on our budget if things come up but we just want a general idea. Also we are wondering about medical costs for the first year after the baby is born. I would really appreciate any info you guys can give me. Thanks

Because of the ongoing global economic crisis, many parents have already started their search for saving tips. But baby care is the field about where we rarely think to save. Indeed a good service and will help thousands of parents.

Wow, what a sweet blog you have here! Definitely not your average…

It’s tough to stay within a reasonable parenting budget and still provide fun things for your kids, we agree. We’ve tried to keep most of our kid’s furniture priced around $100.00, with some of our favorites even below $100.00! Jaxx kids bean bags come with standard liners (no upsell!) so you can unzip the covers and throw them in the washing machine. We love that part.

    Happy blogging! Love your site!
