Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland in 3D!

June 22nd 2009 by Dr.MOZ in Movies and Media

It’s still too early for a trailer, but concept art from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland (more at EW.com) was released and it’s looking promising. The story takes place 10 years after Alice’s first trip down the rabbit hole, and this time Disney is dishing out an amazing mix of live action and computer graphics in 3D! Based on a few leaked details, this version may
turn out to be a little too dark for toddlers. The film scheduled to be released on March 2010 will star Johnny Depp (Mad Hatter above), Anne Hathway , Matt Lucas, Crispin Glover, and Helena Bonham Carter (Red Queen above). Check back soon because I’ll have a trailer up as soon as it’s out!

Have fun and stay healthy,

Have to wait for so long March 2010. I am very exited now and i cannot wait. Nice post as always.

  2. TigerTom Says:

Johhny Depp looks demonic in that picture. After ‘Charlie and the Chocolate factory’, I’m not hopeful about this ‘reworking’. Hollywood is about selling ‘product’ and anything famous that might be approprated to make a buck is fair game.

Hehe.. I can’t believe how Johnny Depp looks in this film from what I have seen so far. I don’t he looks demonic as much as just freaky and drugged up. But I must say I am intrigued and would definitely check it out.

  5. Anita Mayers from Baby Modeling Secrets Says:

That looks cool, but my baby might not be able to enjoy it. Oh well, it’s a Tim Burton film anyway. =) His muses are there – Helena and Johnny Depp.

  6. Acotis Says:

Yes i agree to “Tiger Tom” he was not so effective in the last Film of his. But then too he has got a chance again to prove.Lets see what he does this time.

  13. Jane Says:

Actually.. it doesn’t look *exactly* like Burton’s artwork, it looks a little more like an old storybook. I know it’s a concept but I like it

  14. Paul Says:

I am sort of out on Tim Burton films. That guy is creative, but I also think he is certifiably insane. Maybe I’m wrong. I’ll probably still see this one though.

  15. courtnee Says:

I really want to see this one. Johnny Depp looks scary. I still want to see it.

  16. Genaro Soltys Says:

I wasn’t so sure of this film for my younger kids – its a little to grown up which is a shame.

What happened to Disney? Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland does not compare to the original animation. I remember when I was a child I would watch films like The Jungle Book and 101 Dalmatians and be amazed! Now, Disney has gone downhill and its films seem to be getting worse and worse as time goes by. If you ask me, many kids websites like Disney’s should not be listed on the top category of sites. Is it time for us to realize that Disney is not really what it used to be and in fact it now scraping the barrel of entertainment?
