Celebrity Baby News: Brady, Heigl, Farrell…

I don’t typically cover celebrity baby news, but there’s been so many baby-related announcements over the past week I thought I’d keep you up-to-date with the latest dish:

  • Colin Farrell: has confirmed that he’s expecting a child with the Polish actress Alicja
    Bachleda. His first child with ex-girlfriend Kim Bordenave is six-years-old. (E! News)
  • Tom Brady: also confirmed that he and model Gisele Bundchen are expecting a child in December. Brady’s first child was with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan. Patriots fans across New England are already doing the math, in preparation for the playoff conflict that hasn’t yet happened. (SF Gate)
  • Katherine Heigl: and husband Josh Kelley are adopting a 10-month-old baby girl from Korea named Nayleigh. (LA Times)
  • Lil Wayne: and actress Lauren London welcomed a baby boy on September 9th. (MTV News)
  • Nicole Richie: and husband Joel Madden welcomed a 7lb 14oz baby boy to the world on Wednesday morning which they named “Sparrow”. Their first born, Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born in January of 2008. (MSNBC)

    The day I name my kid after a Johnny Depp Character is the day my kid is born with a $20,000 University fund. What is with these celebrities trying to “one up” each other in the “quick, name your baby something weird” race? Whatever happened to names like Jon, Ben, or Grant. That’s a great name :)

    Is he actually seeing this girl now or is it another quick fling. I thought he had cleaned up his act now and was off the booze & all that. Saw him been interviewed by Gay Byrne some time back & he still seems “way out there” if you know what I mean. Anyway he will be jet setting between the 2 if nothing else

    i cant understand why its so damn easy for celebs to adopt a child. “normal people” have a lot of issuis to do so, while celebs just need to say ” here, i want one”.
    it´s just unfair!!!

    Being a San Diego Charger fan I can only hope that Tom and Gisele’s due date is mid-Janurary… preferably on a weekend :) I wish them all the best and no doubt will have one of the most beautiful babies on the planet. But having him a question mark for a potential playoff date isn’t all that bad for non Patriot fans.

    nice post, i think Sparrow is a good name n can be reminiscent of Johnny Depp
