Giveaway: Win DAD HAIR by Craig A. Lawrey!
December 1st 2009 by Dr.MOZ in Fatherhood, Giveaways
Every now and then, I run into resources for fathers that are so necessary…so vital, that it’s hard to believe men aren’t given copies at hospitals when their daughters are born. The book Dad Hair by Craig A. Lawrey is just one of those “must have” guides my
friends. Well, I may be exaggerating a little but there’s no denying that nine out of ten dads have no clue how to brush or braid girls’ hair. Wait, did I say nine out of ten? Let’s just round that up to an even ten out of ten and see if you can win one of the two signed copies for the dad on your gift list:
- To Enter: leave Dr.MOZ a note in the comments section related to the prize to help Dr.MOZ separate actual human entries from the robots.
- 2 Winners: will be chosen randomly using a random number generator Random.org on Sunday, Dec 13th at 6pm PST. Winners will be contacted using the provided email address so make sure it’s typed correctly.
- For a Double Entry: give us a tweet, or post about the giveaway on your blog! Add a new comment linking to your contest tweet and we’ll include it in the final giveaway to increase your chances!
I monitor the blog comments throughout the day, so don’t worry if your entry isn’t immediately shown on screen. Thanks again to Craig A. Lawrey for sponsoring this fantastic Dr.MOZ giveaway! Did I mention that Dad Hair is available directly from the author for only $9.95 plus tax/shipping while the very limited holiday supply lasts?
Good luck!

LOL! I remember my brother fixing her daughter’s hair and I told him why not let our mom do the job, because he’s obviously NOT doing it right
After a few minutes my niece came to me and said “Look what Papa do to me”
I burst out laughing!

Whew, good thing my daughter is still bald!

The only thing I don’t understand is how they got a picture of my daughter after I tried to do her hair for the front cover? In TX if I happen to win and I think my wife will laugh pretty hard at this title.

Oh my gosh. I can tell you now that we are going to be needing this book in the not so distant future. My husband has already been talking about giving our daughter a faux hawk when I’m not around!

LOL! Well, men are bad with this because 9 out of 10 men can’t even comb their hair properly.
I pity the little girl who’s hair has to be brushed by her father every morning. I’m kidding.

I have two girls and I have always known that whenever Daddy tries to do their hair that it ends up really not being pretty. This would be the perfect gift for my husband – I think he would really use it!

We have two boys and now a little girl! A lot of changes to get used to and we’ll take all the help we can get! Little girls hair is much more of a challenge than with our boys.
December 13th, 2009 at 1:30 pm
Ha! This is too hilarious! I don’t think my husband can properly put our 4-year-old’s hair clip on her head the right way! He’s good at cutting our son’s hair, but brushing and styling a little girl’s head of hair? Forget it!

i could use this as a great gift thanks for sweepstakes
