Official Trailer: The Evolution of Dad

March 16th 2010 by Dr.MOZ in Fatherhood, Movies and Media

I promised that I’d keep you posted on Dana Glazer’s upcoming documentary “The Evolution of Dad” and I’m excited to report that the premiere is this Father’s Day, 2010! The film in their words:

The Evolution of Dad is a thought-provoking documentary about what it means to be an involved, contemporary American father. Following the personal journey of filmmaker and dad, Dana H. Glazer, the film explores how fatherhood has evolved over time, what its impact has been on family and society; and lastly, how fatherhood will likely continue to evolve.

Can’t wait to watch the movie. I bet this will be another hit. I think I should take my dad out on Fathers day and give him a good treat. :)

  2. Sup Says:

It’s funny when I was watching the trailer I was reminded again and again of my dad, hopefully I turn out different :)

Brilliant. There are far to few documentaries about parents and parenting, and this is the only one I know of focused on fathers. Though , I saw this and thought that it was a little too a political. Not enough guts, regarding socioeconomic factors facing modern parents.

Now following – wish I could have been part of this project – I’m very excited to see it… do you know when and where the premier will be?

  6. Dr.MOZ Says:

@ Texas – The premier will be on Father’s Day, which is the third Sunday of June (in the US). As for where…I’m not sure yet, but shoot back to the baby blog in early June for the full showing schedule.
