Etsy Find: WeeKnit Finger Puppets and More!
March 22nd 2010 by Dr.MOZ in Arts and Crafts, Etsy Finds
I’ve seen quite a few finger puppets and knit toys in my day, but I’ve never seen anything like the fantastic creations from mother-daughter team “WeeKnit” on Etsy! Not only do they have a fun collection of everyone’s favorite monsters, superheros, and holiday figures,
but they’ll also design custom pieces. Have a fun idea you would like to see in finger puppet or “egglet” form? Visit their online store, the WeeKnit blog, or shoot them a tweet on twitter to get your knit on!
Have fun and stay healthy,

I like the snap with Batman, Spiderman, etc on the hand. If someone where to make a glove with them I’d be forced to buy em!

What is this strange and interesting “snap” you speak of Chris? Is it another word for finger puppet?

I’m usually the first to say no to puppets of any kind but these are very cute. I think my boys would actually play with these and that’s saying something. I love em!

@ Cyprus – Spiderman was one of my favorites too. You might want to check out the site, there are a few amazing Star Wars character designs as well.

This is really great. I think it’s extremely important to encourage imagination. Children are spending so much time with various games and television, but this is a wonderful way to create a game by its desire!

Real creative stuff! I just checked the homepage and I saw the cutest farm set there. If I had kids I’d get them some for easter.

Kids absolutely love finger puppets…and to be honest, I do love them too! It is worth noting that often children will happily chat away to a puppet character on a parent’s hand and completely forget the fact that the parent is there.
