Launched by father of twin girls Danny Grubb, GladDads.com was created in 2009 to collect and share fatherhood stories, parenting advice, and gear reviews. The blog has built an active community of contributors and readers since it’s launch a year ago, but Danny

I went to the page, it seems really good, but reading the reasons why he is leaving the website put me think that I also want to be more time with my family, so I didn’t enter the contest

Amazing. Now, dad blogs are surfacing now. It’s really cool. I love mom blogs and I bet theirs is superbly interesting too.

Thanks for the plug Dr. MOZ! Reading some of the comments here I’m beginning to think that I shouldn’t have been so honest in my reasons for leaving blogging

Don’t mention it Danny; glad to do what little I can to help a great daddy blog live on!
What soon-to-be bloggers may not know is how much time goes into finding an available url, and then getting your WordPress (or other) blog running correctly on a new host. Add the time you’ve spent lining-up contributing bloggers and GladDads.com is a real prize considering that’s time a new blogger can devote to changing diapers!

I liked your reply Daniel. Running a website is very time consuming and sometimes can interfere with raising kids and maintaining a marriage.
