The Giraffe High Chair: Cool or Creepy?

I’m still not sure how I ran across the handmade giraffe high chair, but it looked like something Blanket Jackson might be gifted so I thought I should give it a post. Don’t get me wrong…it would obviously take unbelievable artistic talent and lifetime of woodworking
experience to build something like this. That being said, if you wanted to give a kid giraffe-themed nightmares and an eating disorder…you would put him one of these before every meal.
So, what’s your vote baby fans? Is the handmade giraffe high chair cool or creepy? Leave your vote in the comment box below. I must admit, I really have no idea how you guys will vote this time.

I agree with Dr. MOZ that this is an amazing piece of art. How I wish I could have a similar high chair. Perhaps an elephant?

I have to agree. The giraffe’s head is looming over the chair in a creepy way. Perhaps they should have made a kitten chair instead. The giraffe’s a little daunting.

This is the absolute coolest thing I have ever seen. I have been collecting giraffes since I was 16 years old (I’m now days shy of 53) and I would order one of these in a heartbeat. I am now taking care of my grandchildren and would love to feed them in a chair like this. If anyone out there can make one of these, I’ll be your first order!!!!! -Josh

I really don’t like it, and I’m sure that a kid could get really scared of it. Maybe the colors aren’t very cheerful, so painted differently it might look nicer.

First I have to say I appreciate all handmade items, HOWEVER this is a little creepy for me. Am sure any child would have nightmares from this!

I can absolutely see the children being terrified!! Reminds me a little of those drive-thru wildlife safari parks where you feed the animals from the car. The kids always seem to scream when the giraffe sticks enormous tongue in the window.

Looks really cool. Except you’d be cleaning the giraffe head 3 times a day once it was covered in cream peas and runny pears.The poor kid will need a chiropractor after you have put him in and out of this chair a few times.

I’d say its a cool looking chair! But I question a bit of its comfort and stability. The thought of an accident that might happen while sitting on this chair gives me the creeps.

@ d – If your children are still in the future, I guess you still have time to make your own giraffe chair. Be sure to shoot your favorite moose a shot if you do!

I think its creepy. Its very unique and obviously took a good amount of skill to make this, but it plain creeps me out.

The Giraffe chair looks cool and I hope it will be comfortable. The only disadvantage I felt is the space required to keep the chair.

I think its great. A baby would get used to it…hopefully? It could actually be pretty creepy. If only the eye wasn’t staring down at the baby. If it’s head were up, it would be a very cute chair.

The art itself is beautiful. It is a bit creepy, but that would help kids to be more friendly with animals. Some kids would think its awesome, because it would seem like they are having a “picnic” in the wild.

I wouldn’t categorize it as ‘creepy’, a little strange perhaps but I think a child might find it fascinating, but that may depend on the child.
Now if it was a clown instead of a giraffe, that would be creepy

I’ll vote for cool as in super cool. It’s always a horse that I see in every department store or mall. But this is way too cool. I like the figure and I know for sure my daughter would surely enjoy sitting in this chair while trying to reach for the head.

It looks a bit creepy. Also I can imagine after a few drinks and a late night you could end up in a fight with a giraffe burglar. It is very life like!

LOL, I think it’s awesome. I’d probably be scared of something like that if I was a kid, but if the parents introduced it as a fun thing, then I doubt most kids would be creeped out after they see it for how cool it is.

Its not only cool but also very innovative & impressive art of furniture. If it is comfortable and affordable, then I would like to have one for my kid. How can I know the cost price of this chair..? My cousin will love it..
