I’ve been on my toes all week making sure that the world’s best new daddy gifts made it to their baby showers on time, but I ran across an amazing NYC-based photographer Evan Kafka and thought I’d give him a quick feature. Evan’s portfolio includes many impressive

animal and portrait pieces, but regular baby blog readers will probably want to shoot straight to the baby section!

Zefrank.com is an interactive playground of awesomeness brought to us by the amazing Ze Frank. Although most of his online elixirs are feature worthy, today I’ll focus on two particularly fun sites that you could be a part of by submitting your own material.

• YoungMeNowMe: is a hilarious website featuring people attempting to recreate childhood and/or family photos as shown above.

• Like Mom, Like Dad: similar to YoungMeNowMe, but submissions focus on adults recreating pictures of their parents when they were younger. Ze is working on a book for Like Mom, Like Dad, so your submission could land you and your parents in print!

I just looked at the calendar and realized that it’s time I taunted you with another fantastic baby find that you can’t have. Today’s torture comes in the form of an amazing poster by Allan Peters which would be a fun piece for a nursery, or an amazing baby shower

decoration for expecting cyclists. You want one of these don’t you? I thought you would.

Unfortunately… I don’t have a clue where to get one, but I do have a tip you might be interested in. Don’t tell anyone, but Allan opened an Etsy storefront just a few weeks ago. The store didn’t have products available at the time this post went live, but I recommend that you (a) visit his store, (b) contact him using the provided email address, and then (c) promise to shower him with buckets of cash. Perhaps then he’ll see things our way and print  few dozen out for FOTM (friends of the moose).
