I haven’t seen the mamaRoo infant seat by 4moms in person yet, so I thought I’d see if you had a review to share. Unlike swings and rockers, mamaRoo seats are designed to bounce and sway infants (birth to 25 pounds) using the same motion parents would use

with babies in their arms. Features include:

• five motions and five different speeds
• mobile has removable balls with designs by classical artists (Van Gogh, Monet, Seurat)
• white noise player inside base with ability to connect to your MP3 player
• removable, machine washable fabric
• seat reclines to any angle on axis

From what I see online, the only real negatives appear to be the seat’s hefty $200 price and large footprint. On the other hand, you’ll want your rotating infant seat to be stable and mamaRoo appears to be very solid.

I’m often asked by expecting parents for stroller recommendations and my answer has everything to do with (1) how it will be used, and (2) much they would like to spend. I found a fantastic deal on a high-end stroller today, so I thought I’d share the recommendation because you simply can’t go wrong with the Mutsy Urban Rider stroller. It goes from a

simple frame to an adjustable stroller (position baby facing front or back), and it has a car seat feature with every accessory you could imagine. You’re not done yet because it also holds a bassinet, a duo seat can be added for a second rider, and did I mention that it collapses down to a perfectly flat cube for storage?

Quite frankly, the Mutsy Urban Rider stroller has too many features and accessories to mention in a single post so I’ll just let you see it for yourself. If you’re looking for a quality stroller that will last through multiple kids and has everything but the kitchen sink, head over to Mercantila.com which currently has the best price I’ve ever seen at $575 with free US shipping in the lower 48 states. Now that I think about it…it does have a dinner tray, but I’m not yet aware of a kitchen sink feature in the US model.

I was doing a little window shopping at the Birth Boutique today and ran across a product I’ve never heard of before called the Diaper Bridge. I’m not sure how long the Diaper Bridge has been on the market, but it’s a portable changing table designed to fit over sinks for

changing in public locations. The baby (up to 40 lbs) is strapped to the board which secured to the sink handle with a nylon belt.

Does anyone out there in Mozville own a Diaper Bridge?  I can see how it would be useful for bathrooms without changing tables, but strapping a fussy baby onto the board could be more trouble than finding a bench and a changing pad. It doesn’t look particularly portable, but perhaps it’s something you keep in your car. I can’t find the manufacturer, so I’m left wondering what this mystery baby product is all about. It looks like someone has finally figured-out how to make a self-heating, portable baby bottle! Iiamo baby bottles (free of lead, phthalates, BPAs, and PVC) heat in four minutes without batteries, cords, or electricity of any kind. I haven’t had the opportunity to see one of these Danish bottles in person yet, but the warming technology consists of innovative

cartridges powered by nothing more than salt and water.

I love the idea that it’s powered by non-toxic, portable cartridges, but I’m left wondering if they are reusable or not. The cartridges are sold in six packs which makes me think that they require regular changes, but I’d love to hear more about the product (click on comment bubble above) from anyone out there that may already be using Iiamo bottles. Both bottles and cartridges are available internationally through danskdesign.nu.
